The BIOPROTECT Us System
HEALTHY GOVERNMENT PROGRAM
“Protecting government facilities.”
The Bioprotect Us System™ Healthy Government Program recognizes the two main aspects of concern about disease protection in the government sector:
- Governments have an affirmative obligation to uphold standards of antimicrobial protection for the communities that they serve, and
- Government buildings, whether on the Federal, State or Local level, have obligations similar to any employer vis-à-vis its employees. That is, to provide them with a safe work environment. What’s included in providing a safe work environment is the obligation that any employer has to its own organization, and that is to work efficiently. There are many aspects that are included within the area of “working efficiently,” and The BIOPRTECT Us System™ address one of those aspects. That is, reducing illnesses and lost time from work due to airborne and surface contracted viruses.
The solutions to not only who has been responsible for creating these resistant viruses, but more importantly how to prevent their further damage not only to Us, but to the environment in which we live, has been gradually moving away from the private sector and into the governmental sector. In 2014, for instance, The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) issued a Stewardship Statement. This Statement notes that when antibiotics are rendered ineffective by resistance, alternatives are often more toxic, more expensive, and less effective, and more harmful to the environment and to the population. Significant to government agencies because governments in the USA employ over 22 million people…nearly TWICE the number of people employed in the manufacturing industry. So, we are finding that governments are more mindful of this problem than ever before.
And, in reference to keeping the government workplaces safe and free from harmful bacteria, governments are as aware of their obligation as all other good employers are. Consistent with much of the current focus in healthcare in general, government run offices are looking at ways to keep their workforce healthy and reduce time off for sick days.
According to a Fact Sheet put out by the National Partnership for Women & Families in 2017, lost time from work just due to emergency room visits alone cost the nation $1.1 Billion dollars yearly. Keeping our workplace protected from harmful bacteria is no longer an option, it’s a must.
The BIOPRTOECT Us System™…The Future of Clean™
We employ a non-leaching technology of bound antimicrobials that remain affixed to the surfaces and, on a molecular scale, physically pierce the microbe’s membrane rupturing the microorganism on contact killing them while maintaining their efficacy to continue to kill any other microorganisms that come in contact with the surface. This technology is used to treat all types of surfaces and is not consumed by the microorganisms as it kills them.
